Character Pen Pals Letter Writing (Ongoing)

Make a child smile by writing a letter as their favorite character! Sign up using this form, then pick up letter writing materials and instructions at the Youth Services desk. Completed letters should be returned to the library as soon as you are finished. For each program quarter, volunteers can earn up to five service hours by participating in Character Pen Pals. Please allow staff time to get your kit ready before coming in; you will be notified via email when your kit is available.

Teen Book Reviews

Ever wanted to tell your fellow teens what you think about the books you're reading? Tell us your opinion (positive or negative) through this form here and earn one service hour. A maximum of ten reviews can be submitted per semester.

ARC Book Reviews

Pick a book from our ARC cart by the Teen Fiction collection and take it home to read. Complete the review form inside and return to the library to earn one service hour, but keep the book!
