Any adult esident living within the Lemont Public Library District may obtain a library card by completing an application form and furnishing proof of current residency, i.e. current driver’s license, utility bill. Residents, seventeen and younger, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must have a library card and sign the application.
A resident card is valid for three years.

If you are not a resident of the Lemont Public Library District, please check the Borrowers section of our Circulation Policy to determine whether or not you are eligible to purchase a card, or otherwise borrow materials from the library. The current cost to purchase a Lemont Public Library card is $185, and it is valid for one year.
