Bestsellers Club - Sign up today!
Join the library's Bestsellers Club and you will automatically be placed on the reserve list for any of the popular fiction authors you choose from the following list. Best Sellers Club form - PDF
We'll add your name to the waiting list and let you know as each new novel becomes available. **Due to the increase in demand, we will limit the pick-up period to 3 days after we reach you. After that period you will go to the end of the list and the next person will be called.

Inter-Library Loan

When you need an item that is not available at the Lemont Public Library, you may request it through the inter-library loan program, if you have a valid Lemont Library card. Inter-library loan services may only be performed at your home library. Please contact one of the Reference Librarians for assistance with inter-library loan. We will always try to find an item in-state first, but if an item must be obtained out-of-state, there will be a $2.00 postage fee at the time of pick-up.

Items borrowed through inter-library loan have varying lending periods.

Test Proctoring
Test proctoring for Lemont Library cardholders is provided for free. Patrons from other libraries will be charged a $5.00 fee per test.

Meeting Room

The library meeting room may be reserved for use during regular library hours. Reservations must be made in advance and are accepted no sooner than three months prior to the meeting date. Fees may be charged for room and equipment use.  Please refer to the Meeting Room Policy for further information and contact Cheryl Jeans for availability. Download application here.

Study Rooms

The Library has two study rooms available for patron use during regular library hours. Individuals must present a valid library card in order to use the rooms. The study rooms are available in one-hour blocks of time, which may be extended if no other patrons request the room. Reservations may be made in advance by calling the library. Please check-in at the Circulation Desk and present your library card before entering the study room.

Voter Registration
Certain staff members can assist you in becoming a registered voter. It is recommended that you call ahead (630) 257-6541 to insure that one of these staff members will be available when you come to the library. You need to present two items of personal identification; one must show proof of current residency, and one must be a picture ID. Our staff are authorized to register only those living in Cook County.
